About Lakkidi Viewpoint

Lakkidi sits at the top of the Thamarassery ghat road and is known as the gateway of Wayanad. It is one of the highest points in the district, and the viewpoint looks over the hairpin road and the forested slopes below. Clouds often drift through the valley in the morning, which makes it a favourite stop for sunrise and photographs.

The area gets plenty of rain, and the air stays cool through the day.
