A star-shaped lake with boating and cycling

Kodaikanal Lake is a star-shaped, man-made lake created in 1863 by Sir Vere Henry Levinge. The loop path around the lake is about five kilometres and can be walked, cycled or ridden on horseback, and boats are available on the water.
Chocolate shops and snack stalls near the lake make it a popular evening stop.
See it as part of a planned itinerary with transport, stay and a trip coordinator.
