A wooden temple in an ancient cedar forest

Hadimba Devi Temple is a wooden shrine built in 1553 in the middle of a deodar cedar forest. The four-tiered pagoda-style roof, intricate wood carvings and the forest around it make it one of the most distinctive temples in Himachal.
The temple is dedicated to Hadimba, a figure from the Mahabharata, and the forest path leading to it is a pleasant walk.
See it as part of a planned itinerary with transport, stay and a trip coordinator.
