The Mughal fort and a symbol of independence

The Red Fort was the main residence of the Mughal emperors for about 200 years, and its walls of red sandstone stretch for more than two kilometres. The Prime Minister of India hoists the national flag here every Independence Day. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
See it as part of a planned itinerary with transport, stay and a trip coordinator.
