A high-altitude dam with boating and lake views
Mattupetty Dam is a concrete gravity dam on the Mattupetty river, and the reservoir behind it is surrounded by tea estates and shola forest. Boating is available on the lake, and the area is known for its Indo-Swiss dairy farm nearby.
The lake is calm and good for slow photographs and a short boat ride.
