Home of the Nilgiri tahr and rolling grass hills

Eravikulam National Park, reached through Rajamalai, protects high-altitude grasslands and shola forests and is the best place in Kerala to see the Nilgiri tahr, an endangered mountain goat. Visitors travel inside the park by forest-department bus and walk along a marked path with the tahr often close by.
The hills here turn blue when the Neelakurinji blooms, which happens only once every twelve years.
See it as part of a planned itinerary with transport, stay and a trip coordinator.
