A red sandstone Mughal fort and palace

Agra Fort is a massive red sandstone fort on the banks of the Yamuna, built mainly by the emperor Akbar and expanded by his successors. Inside are palaces, audience halls and mosques, and from the fort's walls you can see the Taj Mahal in the distance.
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a showcase of Mughal architecture.
See it as part of a planned itinerary with transport, stay and a trip coordinator.
